| Sunday Morning 23 Feb. 2003 Mission Peak Regional Preserve Fremont, California. Our hike started at the parking lot on Stanford Ave. Special Features: Look out for rocks bearing fossil "... You asked about flowers on Mission Peak; yes, in the Spring there are several wild flowers out such as California poppies, some lupine and lots of small blue flowers ( that I do not know the name..). These little flowers blanketed large areas so they are beautiful... " (A comment from Quoc, thanks!) Nguyen Hieu De and Dong Sang Luong  The view from an elevation of 1232 ft  There are also a couple groves of bayleaf trees along the trail. |
