| Sunday Morning 23 Feb. 2003 Mission Peak Regional Preserve Fremont, California. Our hike started at the parking lot on Stanford Avenue off Mission Boulevard. Special Features: Keep looking for rocks bearing fossil, you'll might discover a new prehistoric fish! "... You asked about flowers on Mission Peak; yes, in the Spring there are several wild flowers out such as California poppies, some lupine and lots of small blue flowers ( that I do not know the name..). These little flowers blanketed large areas so they are beautiful... " (A comment from Quoc, thanks!)
